When a template stops being enough
A template gets you organized. It doesn't read a rate confirmation, catch a driver's signature, or file itself in Drive.
Winetoast Carrier has run on a custom system I built in Google Sheets, Apps Script and Drive every day since spring 2026. Loads are added by uploading the rate con instead of typing them in, entering a load went from 10 minutes to 30 seconds, drivers sign BOLs and upload photos from a page on their phone for each load, and paperwork and invoices save to Drive on their own.
